LIFE DRAWING

REGULAR TUESDAY LIFE DRAWING
Every Tuesday
Life drawing will take place every in our Boiler Room. There will be two sessions each evening, each session lasts an hour and a half.
We have been running life drawing at the Jam Factory since we opened 16 years ago.
Sadly the last life drawing session to be held at the Jam Factory will be on the 13th September.
We are currently sourcing a new space in the area to carry the life drawing sessions - keep an eye on the website for future announcements.
The life drawing will continue.

6pm - Tutored session
7.45pm - Untutored session - Starting a little earlier this week!
Tuesday 13th September
6pm - Tutored session
8pm - Untutored session
Please note these session fill up quick - come early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets will go on sale mid afternoon on the day
Regular Life drawing information
SESSION ONE
6 pm to 7.30 pm, tutored
SESSION TWO
8 pm to 9.30 pm, untutored
£10 for one session
£15 for both sessions

No Booking - buy a ticket at the door on the night
There are a limited number of spaces in the class so I would recommend coming early to avoid disappointment
The tutors are friendly and eager to help, and we will be limiting numbers for safety which in turn makes for a better experience and more time with the tutor.
You will need to bring your own materials or you can buy them at our humble art shop.
We recommend bringing several pencils HB, 2B for example.
Charcoal is always a good option - charcoal sticks are readily available in most stationery and art shops
White chalk perhaps, a rubber (not that you'll make any mistakes) and a pencil sharpener.
We also recommend bringing your own paper (We do however have a limited supply)
No paint or wet materials are allowed during the life drawing
You are welcome to bring a drink into the session whilst you draw, these can be bought at the bar.
LIFE DRAWING PRIVATE SESSIONS
I'm afraid we are currently unable to take bookings for private life drawing sessions from October. With Private life drawing sessions hopefully starting again in 2023.
Thinking of holding an event and want something a bit different - We can offer private life drawing sessions for groups - Good for birthdays, corporate parties, Hen dos

For the private sessions we organise a model and a tutor, materials are provided and you have the room to yourselves. A Private life drawing session goes on for one and a half hours. We require at least 3 weeks notice for this event.
Due to the large number of events taking place during December we are unable to put on life drawing during that month
