ARTIST STATEMENT

Miranda’s pictures engage with the sense of place, an emotional attachment that stays in the psyche.  Abstract architecture and urban landscapes are created.  Often many pieces being created at the same time, they inform each other with fairy tales and stories entwined, a reliving but ultimately rejecting of childhood.  A constant state of flux in our mind and in our dreams realised.
