OPPORTUNITY FOR A LIVE MUSIC EVENT MANAGER AND PROMOTER
Music is very much part of Oxfords culture, we at the Jam Factory want to build on that. We are looking for a highly organised and well connected person to fill the role as Live Music Event manager. Some one who will be able to source and organise weekly music events in our venue. From relaxed jazz on Thursday evenings to something a little more lively on the weekends. There is scope to build the reputation of the Jam Factory music scene and we need you to help us do that.
• Sourcing music artists
• Promoting and publicising events
• Keeping an accurate record of the music events
• Ability to deal with finances between the Jam Factory and music artists
• Be a point of call for all things music.
• Organise the technical side of music, lighting and sound system we have in house
• Work closely with management and directors to ensure a good relationship with the gallery, restaurant and bar.

Arts at The Jam Factory prides itself on providing a creative hub in the heart of Oxford’s West End. We showcase visual art and events through temporary exhibitions. We are committed to cultivating and fostering creative talent through events such as our weekly life drawing classes, performances and exhibition openings.
The Jam Factory is recruiting a Gallery assistant
12 Hours a week
For three months initially - Potential for more
Sourcing, organizing, curating hanging and promoting exhibitions
Promoting and publicising arts events, exhibitions and
Writing weekly articles on current Jam Factory cultural events
Building relationships with the Arts Community
Building on our public events and performances
Assisting with the internship program, overseeing the interns
Overseeing upkeep of wall space, invigilation area and art store
Being a point of call for all Arts related activities
Working closely with the Management and Directors to ensure a
symbiotic relationship with the Restaurant & Bar

• Adobe illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Google docs, sheets and drive
• Basic use of tools including power drills
